Answers to some quite difficult questions:

1.) If you could shuttle between now and at some point in the past or future, which event / historical period would you choose?

Answer: I definitely don’t want to step into the future. There are so many intriguing historical periods, but I think I would like to witness the engineering and construction of the pyramids in Egypt.

2.) White or black? And why?

Answer: Black. It’s strong and bold in a quiet and elegant way.

3.) Do you think morality is relative, or is it absolute?

Answer: I think it’s absolute. Making the most moral choice, however, isn’t always the choice that feels the most fun or very good. I feel like good people sometimes make choices that aren’t the best, morally, and those are the choices they end up regretting.

4.) Name one work of art that changed your life.

Answer: I can’t honestly say there is a single work of art that has changed my life. I enjoy and appreciate art. I think the overall appreciation of art has definitely positively influenced my life.

5.) A crazy monster is about to charge at you. Describe the funniest, most creative way you’re going to fight it and hold your ground (You can describe the monster too).

Answer: Psychological warfare. I’m a master at coming up with the most annoying songs in history and maliciously infecting my enemy with the most hideous ear worm. 😂

6.) Depict your blog in five numbers and explain why you chose them.

Answer:

50 – my blog is about me taking myself, alone, on 50 dates.

3 – there are 3 rules, though I can be flexible with them. The rules are: I can’t repeat the same type of date more than once, the date has to make me uncomfortable in some way, and it has to have lots of potential to be fun.

1 – this is one of the rules…can only do each type of date 1 time.

15 – I have completed 15 of the 50 dates.

11 – I started this challenge 11 months ago.

7.) Expand the following acronym so as to closely describe the most dominant side of your personality: ALACKRE

Answer:

Animated

Loyal

Affectionate

Curious

Kind

Ridiculous

Energetic

8.) You need to choose between a single page of wisdom and a whole blank book of a thousand pages. Which do you pick and why?

Answer: I would chose a blank book of a thousand pages. I’d write my own story and gain my own wisdom along the way.

9.) What’s the best thing you love about yourself?

Answer: I love that I always look for the best in people, and my loyalty. But, I also pay dearly for these qualities sometimes.

10.) You have the authority to declare that one day in the year be devoted to some special person/cause. What do you devote it to?

Answer: I would devote this day to celebrating my family and friends. What’s more important than that?

11.) You get one minute to talk to a powerful person/ entity. The entity will change whatever you want it to change, but you only get one minute to talk and no more. You only have one chance. What do you talk of?

Answer: I may let you down here. I would like an appointment with God, but their are far too many questions to ask and so little time! I can’t imagine what single topic I would like to cover in one minute. I might just ask that He pass on to me the most valuable nugget of wisdom in that moment. I wouldn’t ask for anything to be changed because I truly believe that everything happens for a reason.
