I recently celebrated a birthday! I’m truly so very grateful and humbled by how blessed I am to have such amazing and special people in my life. My friends spoiled me with dinners out together, a Steve Martin/Martin Short show, a nice bike ride with pastries and lots of love and laughter. I was also able to have some much needed phone time to catch up with far away family and friends, as well as some heart warming text messages from loved ones. The posts on my Facebook page were very sweet and thoughtful. I was pretty overwhelmed, in the best way possible with all of the love I felt. I have no words to express how I feel. I’m blown away.

My existence has been pretty self and kid absorbed over the last few years, as my marriage was falling apart and our lives have changed so dramatically and I’ve been trying to duct tape things back together. I know I haven’t been there for these people in the ways they have been there for me. I’m so deeply touched and want to do a better job of showing them how much I love and appreciate them. They are my roots, and I need to be a stronger root for them. 😐 Jay Shetty…
