Hi! My name is Corinna. I'm a 45 year old mother of 2 boys, ages 6 and 3. I was married at the tender age of 20, but we started our love affair when we were 18. My story is a very familiar tale of young love that struggles to build a successful life and family, but later self destructs in middle age in a very stereotypical way. I was married for 24 years and my divorce was finalized in 2017. I won't go into the details of my marriage failure in this blog because it's more about my journey to start my new life and to discover who I am apart from the person with whom I spent the majority of my adult life. This blog is also not about abstaining from the male species or dating people other than myself. I simply want to commit to taking myself out on 50, well deserved, first dates and journaling the process. There may be juicy stories along the way, but you and I will discover that together.
